How quickly do you ship?
We are currently shipping only on Fridays. If we receive your order by noon EST on Wednesday, we should get it shipped Friday, unless it needs a proof.
We typically ship within 5-7 days. During holidays and peak times, it could be a little longer. Requesting a proof may also delay shipment.

Do your mattes come with frames? Do your frames come with glass?
Yes, each of our mattes comes with a frame (customized matte, frame, glass and back with hanger and/or easel depending on the size of frame) to easily display on a wall, mantel, shelf, etc.
Is there a finish on the matte? Can I get the matte in another color?
Each piece of oak is stained with a clear finish to bring out the beauty of the wood.
Our mattes are only oak. Painting them either leaves a residue that's very difficult to get off if painted before engraving/cutting or fills in the engraved parts if painted afterwards.
How do I attach the picture to the frame?
We recommend using masking tape to secure any photos to the insert.
How are the mattes made?
Using a computer, each matte is carefully designed to meet your needs and wants, then laser engraved/cut from a piece of oak plywood.
